We are committed to providing low-cost spay/neuter options to reduce the population of unwanted animals, and we work to educate our community on topics such as pet healthcare and responsible ownership.CARA is operated by volunteers, volunteer board members, and part-time shelter employees. We require an application be submitted and reviewed by our Adoption Committee. Adoption fee of $150 for dogs and $125 for cats includes age appropriate vaccinations, preventatives, spay/neuter services, and microchip.
