I drink tea 365 days per year. In the hot summer months, I always have a jug of this iced tea recipe in my fridge for a quick and refreshing drink that nourishes my body and makes me feel good from the inside out. You’re gonna love this recipe!

This organic tea is a refreshing blend of Hello Joyous Pure Radiance tea, a functional herbal tea full of skin-loving herbs including nettle, rose and moringa. Also, it has green and white tea which provides loads of beauty-boosting benefits and a gentle hit of caffeine. You’ll feel more radiant with every sip!

I love adding some lemon and lime wedges, plus fresh mint, because I always have it growing in my garden. Mint is an exceptionally hardy plant and very easy to grow. It’s one of my favourite herbs with many health benefits!

There are many benefits to drinking this tea because the ingredients are nutrient-dense and beneficial for overall body health. There are no additives such as colouring, flavouring or preservatives — all of which don’t belong in tea in my opinion.
Every ingredient in this iced tea is functional. This means it has many health benefits for your body!
Key ingredients in Pure Radiance Tea

Nettle: The anti-inflammatory compounds may help prevent inflammatory-based conditions of the skin. It’s a natural diuretic which may help the body shed excess water.
Moringa: A plant that has been praised for centuries due to its healing benefits for the skin. Rich in antioxidants and phytonutrients, moringa nourishes gut health and is the unsung hero of skincare. As well, it’s a source of vitamin A and C—both skin heroes—plus anti-inflammatory quercetin and blood sugar balancing chlorogenic acid.
Rose: An antioxidant powerhouse, rose helps to strengthen and protect skin cells. Traditional cultures have been using rose for digestive wellness for centuries. The key to glowing from the inside out is a healthy digestive system.
Here’s my healthy iced tea recipe:
Ingredients
- 6-8 cups of water (or more depending on size of jug)
- 4 tbsp Pure Radiance loose leaf Tea
- 1 lime, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Handful fresh mint
- Optional: 1 tbsp honey or 20 drops liquid stevia
- 1-2 cups ice
- Fill up your kettle with water and bring to a boil. Let water cool for a few minutes before infusing because this tea needs to be steeped at a lower temperature, since there is green and white tea in the blend. Place loose tea into an infuser or tea bag.
- Using 2 large mugs, place infuser or tea bags one in each mug. Fill each mug with hot water. It will get very concentrated - this is exactly what you want because it will get diluted again when you put it in the jug with ice and cold water.
- Add ice to a large jug. Add infused tea from each mug into the jug. Next fill up to the top with water and add lime and lemon slices and fresh mint.
- Place in fridge until fully chilled. When ready to drink pour into glass and garnish with mint and a slice of lemon or lime. EnJOY!

Most store-bought iced tea is loaded with sugar. This organic tea blend, like all Hello Joyous teas, are so flavourful you really don’t even need a sweetener, but if you do want to add some I recommend using a natural sweetener like honey, monkfruit or liquid stevia.
Have the munchies? I recommend enjoying this tea with some Everything Guacamole if you want something savoury.

Feeling like something sweet? It also goes wonderfully well with a slice of Paleo Carrot Cake for a healthy sweet treat!

Enjoy!
